Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily asphalt plant operations, traveling between Prince George’s County, Charles County, and Anne Arundel County. You will ensure safe, efficient production, coordinate schedules, and support staffing and maintenance efforts across multiple locations.

The role requires at least 5 years in asphalt plant ops, strong leadership and communication, and a solid understanding of OSHA/environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with preferred higher education in construction/engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in asphalt plant ops, manufacturing, or construction materials production.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt plant equipment, processes, quality control, and material handling.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
• Ability to read production schedules, manuals and operational reports.
• Willingness to travel between plant locations 25–50% and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily asphalt plant operations to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules to meet requirements.
• Travel between plant locations to provide leadership and standardize practices.
• Lead, train, and mentor plant operators and production personnel.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Ensure quality control specifications are met and investigate issues.
• Maintain production reports, logs, and inventory records.
• Enforce OSHA and safety policies; promote a culture of safety.
• Collaborate with dispatch, QC, maintenance, and paving crews for seamless ops.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement.
