Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Operations Manager in Middleton, MA to oversee production and distribution at asphalt plants, mentor staff, and drive safety, quality and cost targets. You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage operational purchasing, and pursue CAPEX initiatives to improve facilities and processes.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3–5 years supervisory experience; prior asphalt production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure environmental, health and safety standards are met and report on compliance.
• Plan, direct and monitor plant activities to meet production targets and budgets.
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to plant staff.
• Manage materials, inventory, procurement, and CAPEX projects as needed.
• Ensure customer service levels and product quality meet company standards.
