Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; basic mechanical skills and computer knowledge helpful.
• Mobile or stationary equipment experience is beneficial for this manufacturing/construction setting.
• Physical demands and safety precautions are essential on a busy asphalt plant site.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt plant – drum and batch systems controlled via computers.
• Communicate with quality control to ensure specifications and adjust mixes.
• Monitor plant status and load out material; dispatch trucks.
• Coordinate with paving crews and project teams and external customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality and service.
• Keep plant running at optimal performance to minimize downtime.
• Participate in safety discussions and promote company safety vision.
• Plan production needs for following day and schedule materials.
