Job summary

Russell Standard in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the daily operations of the asphalt emulsions facility, ensuring safe, efficient production and compliance with all regulations. You will direct plant personnel, set schedules, supervise maintenance, and manage costs while upholding quality, safety, and environmental standards across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years in management and/or leadership position.
• Minimum of five (5) years in construction, manufacturing, or production.
• Basic understanding of chemical and mechanical engineering.
• Solid math and reading skills, and the ability to understand technical manuals.
• Aptitude for learning new tasks and skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises all plant personnel.
• Determines personnel schedules and coordination of work.
• Ensures product compliance with company and governmental regulations.
• Ensures environmental compliance with regulations.
• Plans and oversees all preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Works to achieve annual budget and control plant costs.
• Follows and promotes safety policies and practices.
• All other duties as assigned.
