Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking Multiple Subject Teachers to design engaging lessons, use data to guide instruction, and foster an inclusive classroom culture. You will collaborate with the Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to continually strengthen teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field is required.
• Candidates must be eligible for a teaching credential or permits as outlined (e.g., General Education Limited Assignment Permit, Provisional Internship Permit, or Short Term Staff Permit).
• CPR certification is a prerequisite for some permits.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with the school’s academic vision.
• Analyze student data regularly to inform instruction and support growth.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment grounded in restorative practices and SEL.
• Use culturally responsive classroom management to ensure safety, belonging, and high expectations.
• Communicate proactively with families and colleagues to build partnerships.
• Participate in weekly professional development and communities of practice.
• Maintain accurate records for attendance, grades, and behavior.
