Job summary

Baystate Interpreters in Gardner, MA is seeking an organized Talent Acquisition Specialist to identify and engage freelance interpreters across medical, legal, educational, and community settings.

You will screen candidates, assist with onboarding, maintain records, and build relationships to ensure a steady pool of qualified professionals for onsite, virtual, OPI, and VRI assignments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher or similar experience in recruiting field.
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and data management skills.
• Familiarity with the interpreting industry (medical, legal, or community services) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit interpreters proficient in multiple languages for onsite, virtual, OPI and VRI assignments.
• Screen candidates via phone or virtual interviews to assess language proficiency and qualifications.
• Assist candidates in onboarding, including collection, verification, and compliance checks.
• Maintain accurate candidate records using the internal recruitment platform.
• Foster relationships with interpreters for future opportunities and engagement.
• Collaborate with Scheduling and HR to understand language needs and meet recruitment goals.
