Job summary

Acceleration Academies in South Carolina seeks a Multilingual Program Coordinator (MLPC) to serve as Content Coach and program manager for multilingual learners. The role combines direct instruction with coordinated support to help Graduation Candidates achieve content mastery.

Responsibilities include enrolling and engaging new GC students, creating personalized learning plans, delivering content, assessing progress, coordinating ILAPs and ELP screenings, and collaborating with ML families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• SC teaching certification with ESOL endorsement required.
• Minimum 2 years of high school teaching experience.
• Strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new GC enrollment through recruitment and engagement efforts
• Develop Personalized Learning Plans for GCs
• Deliver content area instruction in individual and group settings
• Monitor GC progress toward course completion
• Coordinate WIDA trainings/access and ILAPs
• Engage ML families with communications in preferred language
