Job summary

Legacy Early College is seeking a dynamic Multilingual Learner educator to co-teach core content and provide direct English instruction to limited English proficient scholars. You will develop ILAPs, administer assessments, and monitor progress while collaborating with PL, teachers, and families.

Role requires SC teaching certification and ML experience, with ESOL preferred. Work hours follow the school calendar with a 195-day schedule and on-site work in Greenville, SC.

Qualifications

• SC teaching certification in grade level band required.
• ESOL certification/endorsement preferred.
• 2+ years lead teaching experience in underserved community preferred.
• Experience with multilingual learners (MLs) preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide English instruction to limited English proficient scholars.
• Co-teach core content classes and deliver direct instruction.
• Develop and implement lessons based on proficiency levels using ELD standards.
• Lead small groups and one-on-one instruction.
• Provide progress feedback to ML Program Coordinator, teachers, and parents.
• Administer ELL assessments and monitor scholar progress.
• Develop ILAPs and conduct progress monitoring.
