Job summary

Families First Parenting Programs in Greater Boston is seeking a Program Coordinator to support and implement 12-15 programs per year, including Power of Parenting and Ripple programs. The role covers recruitment, registration, and logistics to ensure delivery in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and other languages as we broaden language access.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience coordinating or managing programs, outreach, and/or community organization.
• Former participant in Families First programming is preferred.
• People-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Problem solver, flexible, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• With guidance from the Program Manager, develop recruitment plans with partners and monitor each plan’s implementation, with the goal of registering at least 20-25 participants per program.
• In collaboration with the Program Manager, maintain partnerships through regular communication and check-in meetings.
• Ensure all logistics and technology are prepared for the programs, such as updating program calendars and coordinating with Program Facilitators.
• Facilitate program information sessions and attend select program sessions such as graduation to monitor/support registration and retention.
• Interview, select, and provide training and support for parent leaders.
• Connect with parents to ensure completion of registration forms and surveys.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents to ensure they are supported with program needs during and after the program.
• Attend events, make phone calls, and connect with partners and parents to recruit for the program.
• Monitor registration process, maintain tracking sheet, and communicate updates/needs with partner.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor to support programming.
