Job summary

Families First Parenting Programs in Greater Boston is seeking a Program Assistant to support the Power of Parenting and Ripple programs. The role involves recruitment, registration, and logistics to serve multilingual families in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Chinese, Vietnamese, and more as the program expands.

This full-time, 40-hour per week non-exempt position requires availability for evening and weekend sessions about twice weekly.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience supporting or coordinating programs, outreach, and/or community work.
• Preference for former participants in Families First programming.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems (MS Office and databases).

Responsibilities

• Support Program Manager in recruitment, retention, and registration for programs.
• Attend events and phone recruitments to engage parents; run information sessions as needed.
• Track data in Salesforce; assist with participant registrations and surveys.
• Provide materials and certificates to participants; support program sessions.
• Collaborate with staff to troubleshoot program challenges with partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support programs/participants.
