Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Coordinating Teacher, Multilingual Learner Curriculum, to provide curriculum support to teachers and administrators working with multilingual learners. You will develop, monitor, and evaluate ML curriculum materials and oversee school-based LIEPs and ML plans, using data to drive instructional improvements.

The role involves school-based and district-level work under the supervision of the Executive Director of Federal Programs & ELL, with responsibilities that include PD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education with emphasis in ESL or related field.
• Three years teaching experience required.
• Valid NC Teaching certification in ESL required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all laws, policies, and procedures at the state, federal, and local levels.
• Adhere to the NC Professional Teaching Standards.
• Assist schools in administering state-identified English Language Proficiency tests.
• Plan and implement a program of study meeting students' needs, interests and abilities.
• Support ML curriculum and instruction at schools.
• Monitor school-based LIEPs and ML Plans with instructional goals.
• Aid schools in using ML data to improve instruction and programs.
• Deliver PD for teachers and administrators on ML needs and guidelines.
• Collaborate across CMS departments to support ML instruction.
• Model effective instruction for MLs in classrooms and PD settings.
• Guide learning toward district curriculum goals.
• Organize and distribute curriculum materials from CMS warehouse.
• Perform related work as assigned.
