Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks a Coordinating Teacher, Multilingual Learner Curriculum, to support ML curriculum and district Language Instruction Educational Programs. You will analyze data, develop ML materials, and assist with School LIEPs and ML Plans under the supervision of the Executive Director of Federal Programs & ELL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education with ESL emphasis.
• Three years teaching experience required.
• Valid North Carolina ESL teaching certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental curriculum support to teachers and administrators for multilingual learners (ML).
• Develop, monitor, analyze, and evaluate ML curriculum materials and LIEP resources.
• Assist schools in implementing school-based LIEPs and ML Plans with data-driven instructional changes.
• Deliver professional development for teachers and administrators on ML instruction.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to support ML instruction and data use.
