Job summary

Qualifications

• Age 16+ or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete mandatory employee training within the first 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities under teacher direction to support objectives and IEP goals.
• Provides instruction to students individually or in groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Monitors student behavior to maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
• Assists with clerical tasks and classroom organization as needed.
• Assists in supervising students during non-classroom times and transitions.
• Communicates with staff to support progress on IEP/504 objectives.
