Qualifications

• Must complete mandatory employee training within the first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities, assignments and materials under supervision to support objectives and IEP goals.
• Provides first aid and basic health care as directed by health staff for student needs.
• Administers tests, homework, and make-up work to support teachers in the classroom.
• Assists data collection to monitor student progress.
• Gives students help with self-care tasks and personal hygiene as needed.
• Assists students individually or in groups with lessons and learning activities.
