Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Multifamily Superintendent to lead our Florida-based projects. This on-site role requires overseeing all phases of construction for garden-style and mid-rise multifamily developments, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years as a superintendent in multifamily construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to coordinate large teams and enforce safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in Multifamily construction.
• Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Multifamily Superintendent to join our thriving construction team. This role is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in Multifamily Commercial and Mid Rise Construction, and to play a pivotal role in the successful completion of our multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycle, from initial planning to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with design documents.
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring that all work is performed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure that standards of workmanship and safety are maintained.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timelines or budgets.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
• Prepare and submit regular project reports, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including those relating to health and safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on Multifamily Commercial and Mid Rise Construction.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and oversee the work of large teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant IT tools.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification in construction safety and/or project management would be an advantage.
