Job summary

Redwood Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily renovation projects across Texas. The role focuses on budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating a wide range of subcontractors and vendors to deliver high-quality finish packages.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of renovation experience, a construction management degree or certificate, and willingness to travel. Comprehensive benefits and strong growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or certificate program preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the renovation of multifamily projects.
• Proven work experience as a Construction Project Manager or Maintenance Supervisor for large-scale multifamily.
• General knowledge of construction practices.
• Travel may be required based on location of project.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing all due diligence material, gathering bids, maintaining and managing the scope of work to deliver the finish package.
• Procuring local subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for bidding and execution of work.
• Managing the RFP process for renovation projects.
• Creating bid comparisons for presentation to Regional Construction Manager and Director of Construction.
• Hosting Project Kick-off Meetings with on-site staff.
• Tracking and updating live budgets for renovation projects.
• Participating in all project construction calls.
• Monitoring construction activities and inventory of materials; site visits twice weekly.
• Implementing and communicating the progress schedule and revisions.
• Communicating payment procedures and status with vendors and subcontractors.
• Managing subcontractor schedules, quality of work, and payment coordination.
• Liaising with architectural/engineering contacts and local officials to facilitate project and permitting processes.
• Storing progress/completion pictures and coordinating with Property Managers during renovations.
• Inspecting units before renovation and coordinating punch lists with management.
• Tracking unit renovation progress in project binder.
