5 West Group is seeking a prudent Assistant Property Manager to handle day-to-day operations of assigned multi-family properties, maximizing occupancy and tenant satisfaction. The role partners with the Property Manager to drive performance and ensure timely responses to leasing leads via phone and email.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Property Manager in multi-family housing is required.
• Strong understanding of property management best practices and financials.
• Proficient in MS Office and property management software.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and travel between sites, if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations of multi-family properties ensuring smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company regulations.
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants.
• Respond to leasing leads in real time via phone and email.
• Support marketing, leasing, maintenance, and rent collection efforts.
• Supervise onsite staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Negotiate contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner.
• Help manage budgets, control expenses, and support revenue growth.
• Work closely with Property Manager to meet performance goals.
