Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Multifamily communities. The role focuses on maintaining market-ready properties, delivering high service levels, and supporting the on-site team to maximize property performance.

You will assist in all aspects of property operations, including maintenance coordination, budgeting, lease administration, and leasing/marketing efforts. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Property Management experience
• 1+ years of Management experience
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of community in fast-paced environment
• Assist Property Manager with operations including maintenance, budget and lease administration
• Provide superior customer service and communicate effectively with residents and prospects
• Prepare lease/renewal paperwork
• Track advertising and client traffic
• Support on-site team and enforce Cushman & Wakefield policies
• Interview, hire and coach on-site staff
• Maintain residents' files per company standards
• Foster positive living environment and resolve conflicts promptly
• Assist with budgeting and finances, and work with leasing staff to meet marketing goals
