Job summary

The ITEX Group, a private real estate investment firm, seeks a Property Manager for a multifamily apartment community. You will oversee daily operations, occupancy targets, marketing efforts, and tenant relations to maximize performance and retention.

Responsibilities include leasing, budget management, property inspections, and leading a diverse onsite team. Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential; YARDI and MS Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in property management, overseeing multifamily communities.
• Strong understanding of property management principles, leasing practices, and maintenance operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in YARDI property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of local housing laws, fair housing regulations, and property management best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and vendor relationships.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Certification in property management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leasing and Marketing: Build and maintain relationships with local employers. Conduct property tours, process applications, and ensure lease renewals and rent collection.
• Financial Management: Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize rental income.
• Occupancy Management: Monitor occupancy rates and oversee applications, move-ins/outs; conduct market surveys for competitive rents.
• Property Inspections: Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Team Management: Supervise leasing agents, maintenance staff, and admin; provide guidance and training.
