Job summary

BH Management, LLC is hiring a Service Technician I to support maintenance and make-readies at our properties in Cary, NC. The role focuses on diagnosing problems, performing general repairs, and assisting with preventive maintenance to ensure move-in readiness and resident satisfaction.

The position requires basic maintenance experience, HVAC familiarity, and the ability to use common maintenance software.

Qualifications

HVAC knowledge and general maintenance skills
Basic computer skills to access work orders and reporting
Safety awareness and ability to follow OSHA guidelines

Responsibilities

Use industry-specific technology to complete repairs and replacements promptly to restore units to move-in ready condition within company standards.
Complete maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep including exterior grounds and common areas; troubleshoot HVAC.
Identify and report hazardous conditions to Community Manager and Service Manager; assist with preventive maintenance programs.
Assist in following BH preventive maintenance guidelines and document activities.
Maintain security of all property-issued tools.
Post notices to vacate and other community communications when applicable.
Share on-call responsibilities, including inclement weather, with the maintenance team; respond to resident requests per standards.
Other duties as assigned.
