Qualifications

• Six months to one year of general maintenance and safety experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Basic computer skills required to perform job functions.
• Must provide own industry-specific hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements to restore units to move-in ready condition.
• Complete maintenance requests and upkeep of exterior grounds and common areas, troubleshooting HVAC and assisting with make-readies.
• Assist in identification and correction of hazardous conditions and report hazards to supervision.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented per BH guidelines.
• Maintain and secure all property-issued tools.
• Post notices and participate in on-call responsibilities, including after-hours situations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Follow OSHA and safety requirements and comply with applicable codes and internal policies.
