Job summary

MSP Real Estate, Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for The Oscar Apartments in Madison, WI. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance across the property, troubleshoot and repair various building systems, and help keep residents comfortable and safe.

The role requires responding to service requests, documenting work, and supporting turnover tasks for new residents. This active position involves working with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, on-call

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of maintenance experience, preferably involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, or general building maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the property, buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and replace equipment and building components as needed.
Monitor HVAC systems to maintain comfortable temperatures and air quality.
Prepare apartments for new residents, including repairs, painting and turnover-related work.
Respond to maintenance requests promptly and keep accurate documentation of repairs and inspections.
