Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for The Marq Highland Park Apartments in the Westchase area to perform a broad range of repairs and preventative maintenance. Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in multifamily property maintenance, EPA Type II/Universal certification, and strong problem-solving skills. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification Type II or Universal is required.
• CPO certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in occupied and vacant homes across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues and escalate complex repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Service and maintain HVAC systems, furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
• Assist with make-ready processes for new residents.
• Maintain cleanliness of property and common areas.
• Interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA/ADA/HAZCOM standards.
