Job summary

F&F Properties is hiring full-time Maintenance Technicians for a fast-paced multifamily environment throughout Greater San Diego County. This role focuses on apartment turnovers, service requests, preventative maintenance, and general repairs across plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliances.

We value hands-on, independent workers with strong customer service and communication skills, able to read service orders and safety docs.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-family maintenance and unit turnover preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry and painting.
• HVAC and CPO certifications preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders, technical documents, safety rules and manuals.
• High school diploma or GED; technical school training preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be available for weekend work and emergency on-call shifts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, and upkeep of apartment communities across the portfolio.
• Handle turnovers, service requests, preventative maintenance, inspections.
• General repairs in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, appliances.
• Support community appearance and safety standards; deliver timely service.
• Participate in emergency maintenance coverage and on-call rotations as needed.
