Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Savannah, GA, to perform general maintenance and repairs across apartment homes and facilities. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, appliances, electrical fixtures, plumbing, and locks to ensure properties remain in excellent condition.

Responsibilities include following a preventative maintenance plan, communicating with residents after repairs, and pursuing industry certifications through in-house programs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to apartment homes and property facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, electrical appliances, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
• Address plumbing, carpentry, and lock issues as needed.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and report follow-up needs to residents.
