Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair on apartment homes and property facilities. Responsibilities include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units, electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry, and locks, while following a preventative maintenance schedule and ensuring resident satisfaction after repairs.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management or related fields, HVAC experience, and EPA Type

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartment homes and facilities in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets and lighting fixtures; plumbing, carpentry and locks as needed.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and follow up with residents after repairs are complete.
