Job summary

Village Green has an immediate Maintenance Technician position available in Farmington Hills, MI. You will perform timely work orders, service requests, and apartment turns, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair, while delivering friendly resident service.

The role requires 1–3 years in hotel or multifamily housing, strong customer service, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 year's of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge.
• Candidate should have strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting.
• Plumbing, contracting, and builders' certifications and licenses are a plus! We appreciate availability for on-call purposes and the flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary!

• Assists in maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times
• Housekeeping duties as required, as well as snow removal during winter months, when needed
• Performs property maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable
