Job summary

Village Green is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role includes timely completion of work orders and special projects, with responsibilities spanning HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and apartment turnover tasks, including drywall, painting, and appliance repairs.

You will service residents in a friendly, service-oriented manner and handle on-call issues as needed. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years' experience in hotel or multifamily housing, strong customer service, and

Qualifications

• 1-3 year's experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge.
• Candidate should have strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting.
• Plumbing, contracting, and builders' certifications and licenses are a plus!
• Availability for on-call purposes and the flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary!

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects.
• Knowledge in HVAC.
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests.
• Completion of apartment turns, including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair/replacement.
• Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner.
• Diagnoses problems and repairs in the areas of electrical.
• Responds to on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.
• Assists in maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide curb appeal.
• Housekeeping duties as required, and snow removal during winter months.
• Performs property maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable.
