Village Green is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Illinois. Responsibilities include completing work orders and special projects, with emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance repairs.

The role requires delivering friendly resident service and on-call availability, including weekend work when needed. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in hotel or multifamily settings, strong customer service, and basic computer knowledge, with plumbing/electrical skills and relevant

Qualifications

1-3 years' experience in hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred.
Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge.
Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting.
Plumbing, contracting, and builders' certifications and licenses are a plus.
Availability for on-call and weekend work when necessary.

Responsibilities

Timely completion of work orders and special projects.
Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner.
Diagnoses problems and repairs in electrical systems.
Responds to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.
Maintains exterior of the property for curb appeal.
Housekeeping duties and snow removal during winter months when needed.
Maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable.
