Job summary

Village Green in Bloomfield Township, MI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to promptly complete work orders, handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and apartment turns.

You will serve residents with a friendly, customer‑oriented approach, respond to on‑call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager, maintain exterior curb appeal, and assist with pool areas and snow removal when needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge.
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances and painting.
• Plumbing, contracting, and builders' certifications and licenses are a plus.
• Availability for on-call and weekend work when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects.
• HVAC knowledge applied on site.
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests.
• Apartment turns, including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting and appliance repair/replacement.
• Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service‑oriented manner.
• Diagnosing problems and performing electrical repairs.
• Responding to on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.
• Maintaining exterior curb appeal and housekeeping duties; snow removal as needed.
• Maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable.
