Job summary

The Yarco Companies in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across the property. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to keep residential units and common areas well maintained.

Responsibilities include appliance maintenance, basic electrical and plumbing work, making units ready for occupancy, laundry room upkeep, pool maintenance if applicable, and assisting with on‑call safety and resident service as needed.

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Pool certification preferred; HVAC or boiler certification beneficial.
• One year of maintenance experience in residential property.

Responsibilities

• Property appearance and upkeep, including inspections.
• Appliance maintenance and minor electrical/plumbing repairs.
• Make ready for occupancy and some painting.
• Laundry room upkeep and pool maintenance when applicable.
• Provide good customer service and support on-call emergencies.
