Job summary

DBC Real Estate Management, LLC is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician II for a multi-family community in Spartanburg, SC. You will maintain apartments and common areas, perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs, and ensure safety and property aesthetics meet standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, strong customer service, and the ability to prioritize tasks across diverse projects. Evening, weekend, and on-call hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years maintenance/repair experience.
• Valid driver's license required from resident state.
• Preferred: associate degree in a technical field.
• HVAC experience preferred; pool certification preferred.
• Commercial maintenance experience with plumbing, electrical and janitorial is a plus.
• Excellent people skills; ability to explain things clearly to residents.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests, prioritize work orders and complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform minor electrical repairs and replace light fixtures.
• Diagnose HVAC issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Repair appliances, plumbing, and related fixtures.
• Make ready vacant units and complete routine carpentry/painting as needed.
• Maintain safety and follow hazard communication policies.
