Job summary

Harbor Group Management Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Lexington, KY to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will handle routine maintenance and respond to resident service requests.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting tasks, coordinate with vendors, and prepare units for new residents. The role requires on-call flexibility and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• One year of general maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting).
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily maintenance experience highly desired.
• On-call availability including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license may be required for golf-cart operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly via work orders and document in the system.
• Inspect and maintain vacant units, prep punch lists, and manage contractor schedules.
• Maintain amenity areas and common spaces through cleaning and minor repairs.
• Inspect vendor work for quality and safety compliance.
• Participate in safety meetings and OSHA training.
