Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory in Philadelphia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine building upkeep across Booth Manor I and II, under the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager. The role requires completing work orders, painting, preventative maintenance, and occasional travel to Ivy Residence 1–2 times weekly.

Requires high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in multifamily maintenance; solid communication and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily maintenance and affordable/senior housing experience.
• Must be able to keep information confidential and secure.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must understand and appreciate The Salvation Army mission.

Responsibilities

• Overall cleanliness and condition of Booth Manor I and II, daily cleaning, trash removal, and inspections.
• Complete work orders, painting, preventative maintenance, and upkeep.
• Travel to Ivy Residence 1–2 times a week or as needed.
