Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of our building in Trenton, New Jersey. You will perform light repairs, maintain the facility's interior and exterior, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

This position involves daily responsibilities such as changing light bulbs, handling seasonal tasks like snow removal, and assisting with donation pickups. A High School Diploma and basic handyman skills are required, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must understand and support The Salvation Army's mission.

Responsibilities

• Perform light repairs and general building maintenance.
• Replace lightbulbs, batteries, and filters.
• Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of the facility.
• Assist with seasonal projects such as snow removal.
