Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance skills: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• On-call availability for emergencies.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Superior customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer knowledge: Windows Word, Excel, internet, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction and high-quality maintenance service.
• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant homes: inspections, punch lists, schedule vendors, obtain supplies, and finalize tasks.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities: clean, pressure-wash, paint as needed.
• Assist cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing while avoiding waste.
• Attend safety meetings and follow OSHA and company safety policies.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and standards; report violations.
• Follow Fair Housing, ADA, and all applicable laws.
• May travel to sister communities to provide maintenance support.
