Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Hills at Leander in Leander, TX. You will diagnose and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems across units and common areas, ensuring quality workmanship and safety standards.

The role includes preparing vacant apartments for occupancy and performing preventive maintenance. The position requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, EPA/HVAC certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• EPA and / or HVAC certification.
• Current vehicle license in good standing and driving record per policy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Complete service requests following company procedures.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and market readiness.
• Perform preventive maintenance, safety and unit inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
