Job summary

Simpson Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Glenhaven Apartment Homes in Hutto, TX. The technician will maintain a luxury 402-unit garden-style community, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems, and prepare vacant units per company standards to support leasing.

You will collaborate with the service team to uphold property curb appeal and resident satisfaction, with on-call duties and a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related general maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and basic carpentry.
• CPO certification required (can be obtained after hire).
• CAMT certification required.
• MS Office familiarity (Word & Outlook).
• Strong customer service skills.
• On-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and preserve a luxury multi-family community.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, pools, and security systems.
• Assist residents with general maintenance issues (appliances, flooring, cabinets, locks, drywall).
• Prepare vacant units per company specifications for leasing.
• Support service team to maintain strong property curb appeal.
