Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Columbus, OH. The role is a permanent onsite position with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule plus rotating on-call duties about every four weeks.

You will perform apartment maintenance, turnovers, and preventive tasks across multiple communities, handling HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs while maintaining property appearance and coordinating with residents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment or building maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs.
• Own basic maintenance hand tools.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and resident repairs.
• Perform apartment turns, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues.
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and property appearance.
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and general property upkeep.
• Track work orders, inventory, and maintenance records.
• Support multiple apartment communities as needed.
