Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support on-site multi-family properties in Columbus, Ohio. This role requires hands-on maintenance, timely responsiveness, and a positive, can-do attitude.

You will prep apartments for make-ready turns, perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems, handle light plumbing, carpentry and electrical tasks, respond to service requests, and assist with snow removal and grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
• HVAC certification a plus.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must have basic set of tools.
• Positive, can-do attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prepping apartments for make-ready turns.
• General maintenance duties as necessary.
• On-call; respond to after-hour emergency calls.
• Snow removal and grounds/ common area maintenance.
• Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Completing work orders for service requests (plumbing, carpentry, light electrical).
