Job summary

TAM Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle work orders, repairs, unit turnovers, and on-call emergencies across our multifamily communities. The role supports the maintenance team and ensures properties are well maintained and compliant with standards.

The position requires HVAC certification and experience in apartment maintenance, with opportunity to work with a skilled team and participate in preventive maintenance programs. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance required.
• HVAC certification required.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools, equipment, and repair techniques.
• Ability to manage a physical workload safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Estimate time, materials, and scope of repairs when needed.
• Respond to maintenance needs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, and more.
• Respond to resident requests in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
• Oversee and coordinate work performed by outside contractors when required.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws, including Fair Housing regulations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
