Job summary

Village Green has an immediate Maintenance Technician position available at our Texas property. The role focuses on timely work orders, basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repairs to maintain apartment communities.

You will service residents with a customer-first approach, handle on-call emergencies, and contribute to exterior upkeep and seasonal duties. Prior experience in a hotel or multifamily setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects.
• Knowledge in HVAC.
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests.
• Apartment turns including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair/replacement.
• Servicing residents in a friendly, customer-service oriented manner.
• Diagnoses problems and repairs in electrical systems.
• Responds to on-call emergencies as directed by Property/Service Manager.
• Maintains exterior of the property for curb appeal.
• Housekeeping duties and seasonal snow removal.
• Maintains pools, spas, and pool areas where applicable.
