Job summary
Village Green has an immediate Maintenance Technician position available. The Maintenance Technician will perform timely work orders, apartment turns, plumbing/electrical service requests, and general property maintenance.
Duties include HVAC knowledge, on-call emergencies, exterior upkeep, seasonal snow removal, and pool area maintenance where applicable, with a friendly, customer-service oriented approach.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge.
- Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances and painting.
- Plumbing, contracting and builders' certifications and licenses are a plus.
- On-call availability and ability to work weekends when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Timely completion of work orders and special projects.
- Knowledge in HVAC.
- Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests.
- Apartment turns including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, appliance repair/replacement.
- Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service oriented manner.
- Diagnoses problems and repairs in electrical areas.
- Responds to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by Property/Service Manager.
- Assist in maintaining exterior for curb appeal.
- Housekeeping duties and snow removal during winter months.
- Maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable.
