Job summary

RADCO is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Preakness property in Antioch, TN. The role focuses on keeping the property well maintained, conducting preventive maintenance, and handling routine repairs to ensure resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in maintenance, HVAC/EPA Type I/II or Universal, and possibly a CPO certification. On-call work, thorough knowledge of building systems, and strong organization are required for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family.
• HVAC/EPA Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling is required.
• CPO certification is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, roofing repairs, and other general maintenance skills.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with pride in quality work.
• Willing to work nights, holidays and weekends for on-call service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the property is well kept and promptly address safety concerns.
• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and perform minor maintenance including HVAC troubleshooting and pool maintenance if applicable.
• Move appliances and assist in handling abandoned items as needed.
• Complete all service requests within 24 hours unless parts are extraordinary.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and attend to after-hours calls.
• Communicate clearly with residents, prospects and vendors.
