Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician, Multifamily in Texas. The role involves preparing move-in ready apartments, responding to resident requests, and maintaining common areas to ensure safety and comfort for residents.

The position requires knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical basics, carpentry, and painting. You will follow safety procedures, attend required trainings, and uphold exceptional customer service and company image.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license and EPA 608 Type II certification required.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal.
• Ability to read documents such as policy manuals and safety rules.
• Willingness to attend Cushman & Wakefield training programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares make ready apartments including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs.
• Responds to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities.
• On-call scheduling may be required for after-hours emergencies.
• Reports maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with state/local/federal fair housing laws.
• Attends training programs required by Cushman & Wakefield.
• Delivers superior customer service and represents the company professionally.
• Dresses per uniform and professional appearance standards.
• Maintains safety procedures and safeguards tools and equipment.
• Maintains reliable on-site attendance and reports tardiness.
• Performs any other related duties as required.
