Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team at a residential community in Denton, TX. You will manage make-readies, service requests, and preventive maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards. This role requires leadership, strong facilities knowledge, and on-call availability.

You will coordinate with vendors, supervise technicians, and uphold company policies, including ZERO Harm, to deliver exceptional resident service and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Certified Apartment Service Technician within 1 year.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee make-ready process and final inspection before move-in.
• Procure maintenance supplies and MSDS sheets.
• Manage service request process to meet company standards.
• Supervise maintenance, grounds team, and vendor activities.
• Oversee performance and quality of maintenance staff.
• Manage preventive maintenance for HVAC and systems.
• Train maintenance staff in safety procedures.
• Solicit bids and supervise contractors.
• Respond to emergency requests.
• Enforce ZERO Harm safety practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
