Balfour Beatty Communities seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians, roads and grounds staff across a residential community. You will ensure quality workmanship, safety, and resident service requests are completed on time and to company standards.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, project coordination, familiarity with Yardi, OSHA regulations, and the ability to manage multiple work orders, reporting metrics, and vendor coordination while maintaining a

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of property management or maintenance operations experience.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements.
• Experience with Yardi property management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive management oversight across daily operations, financial reporting, inventory control and procurement, customer service, recruitment and training for an assigned team.
• Direct and support grounds and landscaping to meet curb appeal standards across properties.
• Oversee maintenance teams across trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and more).
• Train and supervise staff on safety practices and PPE usage.
• Coordinate and track work orders to ensure timely, quality responses and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports on environmental work orders, metrics, and trend analyses for compliance and improvement.
• Oversee procurement of maintenance supplies and ensure SDS and safety compliance.
