Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians and grounds staff at a residential community. You will ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of work orders, while aligning with company standards and Fair Housing requirements.

You will manage daily operations, oversee procurement, budgeting, and performance, coordinate with environmental and safety teams, and drive continuous improvement through accurate documentation and metrics in

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• College courses or technical training with relevant trade certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of property management or maintenance operations experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Yardi software preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, financial reporting, procurement, and staff management for maintenance team.
• Direct grounds and landscaping to maintain curb appeal across properties.
• Ensure workmanship meets company standards and customer service expectations.
• Coordinate emergency and routine work orders with environmental, safety, and operations teams.
• Track work order metrics and prepare reports to support continuous improvement.
