Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff and coordinate vendor activities across our communities. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality service to residents, maintaining curb appeal, and ensuring timely repairs.

The position requires 3+ years in multifamily maintenance, 1 year of supervisory experience, and strong skills in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. A valid driver’s license and on-call availability are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• On-call and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident requests, manage work orders, and ensure timely repairs.
• Oversee maintenance staff and vendor activities for property upkeep.
• Maintain safety standards and OSHA compliance across operations.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify hazards and prioritize fixes.
• Manage inventory and budgeting for maintenance supplies.
• Plan and supervise preventive maintenance and make-ready units.
• Ensure compliance with community policies and regulatory requirements.
