Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in California to deliver high‑quality maintenance and resident service. You will lead maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors to keep properties in top condition.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in multifamily maintenance, supervisory experience, and strong DIY skills in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry. On‑call and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work.
• HVAC and CPO certifications highly desired.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Must be available for on‑call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Resident Relations: Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect and addressing questions and complaints.
• Enforce policies delegated by Community Manager and ensure follow‑through on work orders.
• Assist and complete work orders, diagnose and repair in line with safety standards and codes.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program and well‑organized maintenance shop.
